we ate a late lunch at a deli in new york new york’s ‘greenwich village’. i had the sam & emma’s sandwich and tried really hard to finish it, but alas.

we ate dinner in our hotel, at wolfgang puck bar & grill. after that, we went out and explored the south end of the strip: excalibur, luxor, and mandalay bay. excalibur is themed like camelot- it’s a huge white castle with plenty of turrets and towers. mandalay bay is just a very luxurious hotel with plenty of gold and white finishings.
luxor is exactly what this picture shows. ancient egypt done vegas style, with a black glass pyramid, a giant sphinx, and a miniature nile river. the beam at the top of the pyramid is the brightest in the world.
